Foremost forestry mulchers are the first machines that are designed and built specifically for site-preparation clearing in difficult terrain conditions. Over the years, site preparation mulching has become an indispensable forestry treatment to ensure the renewal of the forest resources. Foremost’s mulchers enables you to mobilize to the maximum of your site preparation operations. This is the first specialized mechanical mulcher that answers the industry’s demands.
The advantage of Foremost’s forestry mulchers lies in the hybrid rotor mulching head and in the unique design of the mulcher frame. Articulated/oscillated steering, coupled with 8 wheel drive boggie axles, provides the lowest ground pressure of any mulcher enabling you to work in marginal to severe terrain conditions with minimal impact to the environment.
Foremost Mulchers use unique articulated frame and bogie axles and an 8-wheel tandem drive with optional high flotation steel, snow or steep slope tracks. Various track widths are available.
The Foremost Hybrid Rotor is customizable, allowing for the swapping or a combination of carbide hammers and steel teeth, whichever is best suited for your application. Foremost’s mulchers also offer the highest mulching power on the market, ranging from 275 to 700 HP and the lowest ground pressure in its class.
Tools, rpm and torque can be selected for each specific application. Other options including GPS assisted navigation, and an Arctic package for cold weather operation.
